Everyday Classic Vintage with a Twist #FOTD

Hello there everyone! Today I bring you a FOTD that has the classic components of a vintage pin-up style,
with a soft unexpected peek of color. Let's begin!

EYES

1. Prime your eyes for shadow, I primed my eyes with Elf $1 eye primer, LOVE this stuff!!
2. Apply a light taupe-y gold with a satin finish all over the lid, crease, and browbone of the eye. (I'm using the gold shade from the Stila "Trendsetting in Tokyo" Palette called Sake. I know, that palette is discontinued, I'm sorry >.<)
3. From the same Stila palette, use a small shadow brush and pick up the light rosy-pink called Kawai, and apply this color just to the outer 1/3rd of your eye lid and blending into the outer crease.
4. I took a black eyeliner pencil (I used one by Noir called "Forever Noir") to line just the top lashline and tight line (if you feel comfortable).
5. Finish with two coats of black mascara on your top lashes only, I used Maybelline New York Volum’ Express One by One Satin Black Waterproof Mascara.

I apologize for the bad quality, but I wanted you to be able to see the shadow placement.
FACE

1. Today was a good skin day, so after moisturizer I applied concealer on just my spots and areas of redness.
2. For under my eyes, I mixed my spot concealer and a highlighter and tapped it on my big old blue saggy eye bags. I used Physician's Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Concealer in #2 Cover in Light and  Physician's Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Concealer in #3 Highlight in Pink.
3. Apply a rosy bright pink cream blush sparingly to the cheeks and blend, I used the Stila Convertible Color in the Tokyo palette called Sakura.
4. Using the same highlighter we mixed with concealer under the eyes, I apply it straight from the tube on top of both cheekbones, my cupids bow, under the middle of my bottom lip, and just between my eyebrows. Blend well.

Natural Light
LIPS

1. Using your toothbrush, wet it and gently brush over your lips to remove any flakes.
2. Slick on a hydrating balm or butter, wait a few minutes, and wipe off with a lint free cloth.
3. Apply a matte orange-y red lipstick with gold shimmers, exactly following the shape of your lips. I used L'oreal Infalliable Le Rouge lipstick in Ravishing Red. THIS lipstick is so impressive, it stays on forever with little to no touch ups and doesn't dry out my lips at all.

Finish with some wavy curls, a side part, and you're good to go! I love this look, so fast and simple.
